I am so very sorry to hear of Aunt Effie's passing. I am sorry that we will be unable to attend her wake or funeral as we are in Ireland until Wednesday. Effie had a great sense of humor and fun. She was a dear sister and friend to my Father, Charlie. I have many fond memories of Effie and Uncle Orville at MACHAN family get togethers. Please accept our deepest sympathy as your loss is felt by those that knew her and respected and loved her.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of a true example of a "real lady". She always had that precious smile, love of people and a real caring heart. I first encountered Orville and Effie when I was just 17 at the Miss Eastern Ontario Pageant. They were so welcoming and I was a scared teenager out of Brooke, my high school teacher, Mr. Taber got me into this, but, where was he now????? Effie and Orville took me under their wing, "you can do this, you are a beautiful girl!!!!!Well if I could have ran, I would have.I have always enjoyed them since that very day. I offer my deepest, heartfelt sympathy to all. The angels will enjoy your magnificent company now. Hugs to all.

I left the 3 rd line in 1966, however the names never left me. Both Orville and Effie, were friends of our family, and give me some old age respect, I still remember them, for good reason.
