Howes, William "Bill" G.A. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Ottawa General Hospital on Monday, September 14, 2009 William G.A. Howes at the age of 54. Bill was the cherished son of William and Berva (English). Beloved husband of Debbie (Mace). Devoted father of Jason (Kristy), Jessica, Daniel and Dylan; and loving grandfather of Eden. He will be fondly remembered by his brother Grant (Jennifer), and his sister Elizabeth (Stewart) Colvin, his nephew Alastair and his other extended family and close friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Friday at 1:30 p.m. There will be a private family interment at a later date. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or to the Athletes in Action program.
