Loved daughter of Shirley (Ken) Knox of Renfrew. Sister of Barry Thomas of Ottawa, Danny (Joanne) Thomas of Bells Corners, David Knox of Smiths Falls, Rob Knox of Ottawa, Erin (Michael) Knox-Nielsen of Buckhorn and Marnie McIlreavy of Ottawa. Predeceased by her father Gerry Thomas. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, from 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2009, followed by service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. In remembrance, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Cheryl passed away as a result of a stroke caused by Moyamoya, a rare disease.
