Sawdon, Gerald Harvey "Jerry" Jerry passed away in Perth hospital on Thursday June 14th, 2018 surrounded by the love of his family. He was the cherished husband of Gail (Buker) Sawdon. Jerry was the adored father of Karen (Scott) Roberts, Pamela Mould, Chris (Shannon) Dobbie and Dale (Cheryl) Dobbie and loving grandfather of Andrew, Andrea, Kirsten, Brent, Nicholas, Brooklyn, Stephanie, Jenna and great grandfather of Eric Joscelyn and Avery. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his sister Donna (late Cal) Moodie, sisters-in-law Eleanor (Harry) Adrain, Lorraine (Will) Dunn, Marion (late Tony) Murphy, Jeanette Buker (Ron Plunket), brother-in-law Don (Sheila) Buker, all his family and friends. Jerry was the owner of Sawdon's Appliance Centre for over 40 years, a member of the Lion's Club for over 25 years (served over 20 years and as chairman for 12 years of the Garlic Festival Committee) and a member of Tunis Temple Shrine for 40 years. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., West, Perth on Monday June 18th, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance of Jerry, contributions to the Lion's Foundation or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
