To the Pennett Family:
My condolences to Millie and Art's family. Millie was certainly a one-of-a-kind lady. Millie and her sister Helen were great friends of my aunt, Sister Mary Publow, and all the Publow family of Perth. As a youngster I remember Millie, Helen and their mother picking up my grandmother to play cards at St. John's Hall on Gore Street and also never missing a bingo game. Whenever I would be in Perth at St. John's she always remembered me with kind words and a hug. We have all lost a great lady.

Dear Polly, Debbie , Doug and family , I was so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Millie was a very lovely, kind person - a real lady . When I started working at Rideau Regional in 1972 , I worked with her. She took me under her wing, made sure I learned the routines. She cared for all the residents we worked with as if they were her own family. I really enjoyed working with her. Whenever I ran into her after she retired she always asked about my family and then about the residents she had worked with . She had a very caring heart.
My sincere condolences to you at this time .

To Millie's family -
With Millie's passing, nearly all the Perth folks of the same generation as my mom and dad have passed.
I remember how your dad would tease me as I biked along the street in front of your house !
Millie had one of the warmest smiles you could imagine. She lived to a grand old age.
My sincerest condolences on the passing of your mom.

I was very sorry to hear of Millie's passing.
She was such a sweet lady. Millie used to live in the same building as I did and was a good friend of Peg O'Neil.
Millie was a cheerful person with a good sense of humour.
I will remember the days fondly when we talked in the hallway at Ashley Chase.

Dear Deb, Doug, Polly and families,
Please accept my belated but sincere condolences for the loss of your mom. Both your mom and dad were such a wonderful, caring couple and I counted myself blessed and privileged to have had them as my godparents. I’ll never forget all the fun, crazy times they had with my parents whenever they got together...and I believe I have some pictures to prove it! I know Millie will be terribly missed by her family and everyone who had the good fortune of knowing her. May she Rest In Peace.
