The Town of Perth and area have lost a True Community Champion. Ed Chenard was an All-In Kind of Guy when it came to Giving Back and Helping Others. He was one of the Originator's of the Build A Mountain Of Food Campaign that started in Perth Twelve Years ago, and through his efforts, expanded to serve 11 Community Foodbanks in the immediate area, stocking Foodbank Shelves with close to One Million Pounds of Food, and over $500,000 in Cash Donations. Ed's Passion was helping others in whatever way possible. He taught us how helping others within our Hometown Communities, made those Communities a Better Place to Live and play an Active Role. He also taught the Build a Mountain of Food Crew how to Pack a Banana Box Full Of Food. A Talent We Will Carry On and Never Forget. He Built Christmas Parade Floats, Sang in Community Choirs, and made it his Mission Everyday to Look After Others First. Ed Chenard, You Taught Us that Passion, Dedication, and Love, makes the World a Better Place for All. I cherish the time we spent together, and We as Build A Mountain Of Food, along with We as a Community will Miss You, but Never Forget Your Caring Ways and Huge Heart. Rest Well My Friend.
