We would like to pass along our condolences to the Family. You are in our prayers. Vernon, was such a fine man and truly old fashion in his ways. It is something that was felt, we were bless to have had the opportunity to share time with him. The stories he told and the crazy stories he told, always kept you amazed. "Back in 1964......" had all the details as if it was present time. Unbelievable. When going out to the farm to have dinner, aka Lunch was in fact a treat and an adventure, LOL We will sorely miss him, God Bless! THE CHILTONS

Our sympathy to the family. We have great memories of Pa. He was so good to all the kids at Amy's. His stories were wonderful. Never forget the boat ride with him and taking a back seat in the truck. The dog always sat up front with him. He was a lovely man. He will be missed by many. Hugs to all his family.

Saying goodbye and letting go of your dad is one of the hardest moments in a girls life, no matter what your age. He was your hero, the one you looked up to the most, the man who taught you all your "first's". He will continue to be a part of you, he will continue to watch out for you and he will continue to be there when you need him the most. All you have to do is ask. He will hear you. Take comfort in your family and friends as you go through all your firsts without him. They won't be easy :-(. Take comfort in his love he had for you Janie'O", Carolyn, Amy and Susan. All our love.
