The connection between the Quigley family and the O'Donnell family goes back for many, many years and continues to this day. John was a very special and caring man, a friend and advisor. After my father Hugh died, John was available to help my mother, Barb (or any one of us) at a moments notice. We will be forever grateful for his kindness.
I send my sincere sympathy, prayers and love to each and every member of the Quigley family.
John will be missed dreadfully. - JaneO'

I was so sad to hear the news of John's passing but feel so blessed that I was able to spend some time last summer with him at Otty Lake. We talked and laughed for a long time about past family gatherings. The Quigley family & Perth was my parents (John and Maryanne Kerr) favorite place to be. We have so many good memories. Sending love and prayers to Winn and the entire family during this difficult time. I can only imagine the celebration in Heaven.

John Quigley was a very special fellow, very involved in our family's life. From the days at Otty Lake, where he called on me to be his "chauffeur" (18 year old keen driver) driving John and friends from Perth back to Montreal after "hectic" weekends, to John's active roll in my Dad's finances (Maj Gen Bill Goss), we had a lifelong friendship with him. Wynn, I.know he put up a great "fight" the past years. He will be missed -- especially his "infectious" laugh. You always knew when John was around!

My condolences to the Quigley family on John's passing. My relationship with John goes back to the 1950's and while not close because of distance, recently we spoke from time to time by phone. He was a true gentleman who genuinely cared for others and showed this in many ways. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and may God give you strength and blessings to help you at this most difficult time.

Our sincere regrets to you Wynn, Brendan, Sarah and the families. Not only was John one of my life mentor but was also a true friend.
As the business adviser to the Balderson Cheese company, John was an intricate inspiration behind its success through his relentless drive and passion to steer Balderson's rapid growth towards what it has become today " a growing national cheese brand"
His passion for the well being of his family, friends and community will be remembered for years to come.
We will miss you John.

There are people that we meet on this journey that we hold very close to our hearts. They are the ones who love us unconditionally, who take time for us and who believe in us. Uncle John took his job as the family patriarch seriously. We always knew that we were welcome at Otty Lake, no matter how many of us came. He looked forward to the family gatherings and we all had a special place at his table.
We will be forever indebted for his kindness, not merely as another favourite uncle, but as a “second father”, to so many of us.
Thank you Uncle John for always being there for us. We will carry that with us for the rest of our lives.
Enjoy your next chapter with the family parties in Heaven.
We love you Uncle John.
Much love always, Katie.

He was a terrific friend to our father, Paul Wilson, and our mother, Susan, and he was always a delight whenever he visited our family over the years, usually when we were up at the Lake.
