Liz and Bob were our landlords in the 1976. I watched the kids grow up, until we moved.
When Liz was in Lanark Lodge I often stopped to see her when I was visiting my friend there.
A great lady, warm soul and always so interested in everything - especially “you” when you were talking to her.
She will be missed by many.

To Fred, Don, Gary, Kevin, Robert and families. Please accept our condolences on the passing of a wonderful lady. Your mother was such a kind and caring woman that she naturally drew people to her. She always seemed to have time for everyone around her and she made you feel that you were important to her. That is a trait few people have. Cherish your memories of her and your growing up years. Take care of each other the way she would have expected.

My heart goes out to all of you, losing your mother, grandmother/and great grandmother!! I have wonderful memories of both your mom and dad and all of you. I know she will be very happy to be with Bobby again! Keeping you all in my prayers and thoughts. I got permission to use the following and hope it will connect for you as it did to me. Eithne and Muriel Ryan
“You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all she’s left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Or you can do what she’s want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.”
