I grew up living next door to the Booths and I was very sad to hear of Brent’s passing. Whenever I think of Brent I remember his big smile and good-natured personality and it sounds like those traits stayed with him throughout his life.
My deepest condolences to Mrs Booth, Danny, Jason and their families as well as Brent’s family. May the memories of Brent’s kindness remain in your hearts and continue to warm and enrich your lives.

My deepest heart felt sorrow to The family. I lived across the street on Laskay for many years. A bunch of us all grew up together just like a big family. From grade school through high school and beyond. Just last week I wished Brent a happy birthday on face book. Now I can’t believe he’s Gone. My heart smiles when I picture you riding the rails up in heaven with your dad. Say hello from the Laskay gang and Rest In Peace Brother

Brent you were my stepfather for many years as soon as you entered my life you brought a shining light into it a great smile and a new perspective on life I’m going to miss you dearly I’m sorry I never got the chance to say goodbye I never thought that I’d be saying goodbye like this but I’m thankful for all the time that we had to spend together you’re always somebody I could lean on share a smoke with and dump my stress and you would always make any situation seem small with your trademark “oh David it’s Alright ” you saved me from a lot of bad times .. you earned the title Dad you were a great friend to me and I’ll miss you dearly !! love you boots !! Hearing the loss last Saturday of my childhood friend Brent deeply saddens me. A part of my childhood and early adulthood innocents is gone.

Hard to fanthom that he gone !
I worked with Brent in my early days with the Railway , sharing the night shift and having a ton of fun ! He was always light hearted and never really missed a step when we all would needle each other ! He always seemed so Innocent in his manner and was always smiling !
I was very lucky to work with him , he will be sorely missed by all who knew him !
