To all of Evelyn's loved ones. We wish to express our sympathy. We have many memories of Evelyn who was so much a part of life in the village of Lanark. I can still see her, in her straw hat, working in the flower beds in front of the Lanark village Town Hall and Library. What a great photo you have chosen. We were so sad to hear about Evelyn. She was such a busy self motivated person ! The gardens in and around Lanark and the Baptist church was within her purview. We will always remember her being so cheerful and anxious to know how you were. She was a ray of sunshine. Photo taken at Lanark's 150th anniversary.

We were so sorry to hear of Evelyn's passing. We were blessed to have her as part of the Lanark Chapter of the Gideons for many years. She loved the Lord and was valuable, enthusiastic and energetic in her efforts to help spread His Word both locally and around the world. She will be missed by many.

Evelyn and Art Knowles lived in Sault Ste. Marie when Paul and Ruby we’re still in public school. Always eager to be involved in church and one summer at Galilean Bible camp in Blind River.
