Dianne, Allan, Bernice, David, Glen and all your families, from the family of Jack and Zelda Hughes, our most sincere sympathies and heartfelt condolences on the passing of Jim. I've many fun filled memories of visiting the farm on the Tay River. Great company, great dinners and great music were hallmarks of a visit to the homestead just the other side of Port Elmsley. My mom so loved to be there, among the people she so loved to party with. May you find peace and comfort Dianne in the memories of a kind and gentle fiddle player.
Again, my deepest sympathies Dianne,
Dan Hughes.

Dianne, Steven, Craig and families as well as Allan, Bernice, Glen, David and families, we were very saddened to hear of Jim's passing. I remember all the fun times at Cameron reunions that the Moores hosted, and, then. of course the kitchen parties with music which I heard about from my Dad. Jim had a dry sense of humour and was always teasing which I am sure his grandchildren and great grandchildren know about. It is so unfortunate at this time that no one can see you but hope you know that we are all thinking about you and know you have a lot of fond memories. Deepest sympathies, Arlene and John

Our sincere sympathy to Jim's family. He will be missed by many but no more than his family and siblings. I remember listening to Jim as he played at the Nursing Homes. What a gift as you could see residents tapping their toes and clapping their hands. Many were chair dancing including myself. I can just imagine the joy he shared at the Camp Ground. Andre remembers painting Jim's beloved Holsteins on the tire cover on the back of the trailer. May all of your precious memories help you as you grieve Jim but remember a life well lived full of joy.

I haven’t only lost a brother but I have also lost one of my best friends. Jim was the kindest man that I know. It didn’t matter if he was having a bad day or not, you could always get a smile out of him if you said the right thing. There was always a happy face when you would mention any member of his family. If you wanted a real glow you would just ask him about his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. That would light up the room.
Jim you have left us way too soon but that was God’s plan. God bless you and rest in peace.
Love Glen and Elaine
