Steve entered softly into the Henderson Family many years ago. But his memory will remain imprinted firmly forever on each of our hearts. We all loved and enjoyed the kind of person Steve was -- he was kind, generous, and always ready for a good laugh. I am confident we will have the pleasure of seeing him again!

Condolences to Steve's and Marnie's families. I will miss meeting and talking to Steve while he walked Lily. When I told him I was getting a new puppy, he exclaimed that I will be totally pleased with my new fur baby.
Although I have known him for a short time, it was more than enough time to know he was kind, caring and a willing helper.

As the phrase goes it seems like yesterday when I met Steve. But it was 25 years ago! It didin't take long for me to see his kindness and loving way about him. I kmew Steve was the one I wanted to be with.
As in every relationship we shared our own struggles but still remained together supporting and loving, and encouraging each other along the way.
I remain grateful for the kindness and love that his family has shown me to this day.
Not only am I grateful for their warmth but I want to express my love to them a well, especially at at time when we find ourselves together in this present grief.
I want to add that Steve will be forever in my heart and will be sadly missed.

If I could tell the world just one thing and heart ache came to visit me
It would be that we are all okay But I knew it wasn't ever after Rest in peace
And not to worry as worry is wasteful We will fight not out of spite
And useless in times like these For someone must stand up for what's right
I will not be made useless Cause where there's a man with out a voice
I won't be idled with despair There ours will go singing
I will gather myself around my faith And I am never broken
For light does the darkness most fear We are never broken
My hands are small I know We are God's eyes God's hands God's mind
But they're not yours they are my own We are God's heart
And I am never broken
Poverty stole your golden shoes Hand's
But it didn't steal your laughter Jewel Kilcher, Patrick Leonard
