Lee-Anne, Larry and family, my very sincerest condolences to you all on your loss of dear Marina. I had the absolute pleasure of knowing her as a co-worker at CIBC and we shared many jokes together as well as our love for cats. We had a few jokes that we both favoured and would only mention one word to each other and start giggling away at work. I am so sorry that she is gone, she will be greatly missed, my thoughts are will you all.

Dear Larry, LeeAnn and families ,
I am so sorry and sad to hear of the passing of your mom. I have so many great memories of Condie Street, and of course many of those memories were times and events that involved your family. Your mom all ways had a story, and or joke. She had a wonderful sense of humor . Of course famous for her strawberry jam, and her love of cats. My time the great old Jinx. One memory that I thought of fondly this week, was our weekly lunch. Don’t know if you remember this Larry? Your mom would make us those boxed pizza every Thursday, or Friday for lunch. You make the crust up and the sauce came with the kit. Your mom would add toppings and cheese. You, Shawn, Shannon and me would eat it in your backyard, in your covered sandbox , so you would not get a sunburn. Lol. Only one great memory of so many . Trips, drive ins, hide and seek, kick the can . The lists go on and on. My thoughts and prays are with you all! Love Christine Fisher (The Connellys Christine, Brent,Hillary, & Spencer)xoxo

Strawberry Saga

We all know that Marina loved picking strawberries. It was natural that I would find her making jam and as a result the jam making bug hit me as well. I was taught by the best!! I will never make jam or eat my preserves again without thinking of Marina. If Marina could not be found at home I would assume, in the picking season, that she was in a strawberry patch - goodness knows where. Anywhere from Packenham to Brockville! We shared that experience many times and always came home stained by berries, sweaty and happy. May you RIP my good friend.
