It is so very hard to believe. We were such great friends growing up together in Zealand, with our fathers being best friends. Peter was always a stand up guy, honest, true, deep rooted values and morals. Peter never wanted to hurt anyone ever. A true friend for life no matter how far apart we were, I grew to appreciate and enjoy Peter's stories, eulogies, and sense of humour. My heart goes out to the families. Be at peace my friend, I won't forget.

Aunt Marg and Families,
There are no words that can express the emptiness that is and will be left, the heaviness in all of our hearts. Uncle Peter was an amazing man, a memorable man that left an impact on everyone's life and an imprint everywhere he went. He will be deeply missed by all but always remembered for his amazing positivity, smile, laughter and bear hugs. I truly hope his inspiration in how he lived life will help find peace and comfort.

We share our condolences with the Garrott families on the passing of Peter. As a cottage owner, of the cottage his father built in the 1950s, we have had occasional meetings with Peter on the farm and will miss his presents, his smiles and greetings. Our sympathies!

I will always remember when Peter climbed the ladder in the preschool room closet and rapped on the window of the skylight at the annual Christmas party. The children thought Santa had actually landed on the roof, it was amazing, best Santa ever....

My deepest condolences to Peters wife and family and especially to his sister Marion and family. Peter was such a special man, went through 4-H and Junior Farmers with him. The laughs and fun we had.
