Jana and I are sad to hear of Ron’s passing. I have many great memories of Ron at the cottages on the Mississippi. When I was younger I considered Ron and Alan to be like my big brothers. I remember good times when hunting ducks with Ron. And, Ron could always be counted on to bring home partridge after his walk through the bush.

My sincerest condolances to Ron's family. It's clear that Ron made friends wherever he went, and I am one of them. I got to know Ron at the McDonald's Corners Farmers' Market where we were both vendors. He was always kind and friendly to me and we chatted often about woodworking and his wood turning craft. I visited him at the lake last fall when I dropped off some crabapple wood for him to try. I hope he was able to enjoy working with it. This is such sad news. God bless all those who are grieving.

Dear Pat and family, Erica and I send our sincere condolences. Ron had become a good friend and mentor to me after meeting at the MERA Farmers' Market. He was instrumental in getting me started at woodturning. We had many discussions about the hunt for the elusive burl which was Ron's favourite type of wood to turn. Dearest Pat and Family, our sincere sympathies to all in the sudden passing of Ron. He was as we'd like to say a gentle giant who enjoyed all his family and friends.
Jamie and I were fortunate enough to enjoy his conversations when we all got together, especially at our TGIFs, we certainly had to make sure that there was enough mustard on the table to go around if Ron got there first.

I can't comprehend this yet. My heart is aching so I can only imagine how you are all feeling Aunt Pat, Steve and Jen. If only I could be there with you..
