Obituary of Connie Hayes

Hayes, Constance Faye (Allen) "Connie" RN
April 4th, 1944 - January 3rd, 2021
Connie passed away suddenly on January 3rd, 2021 at the Kingston General Hospital.  She was the beloved mother of Scott Cross and Stephanie (Steven) Moore.  Connie will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Liam (Santana Richards) Cross, Noah (Joey Rego) Cross, Aaron (Lily) Moore and Adrianna (Andrew Johnson) Moore and her great-grandchildren Ella and Jack Moore.
She was predeceased by her parents Hubert and Muriel (Reid) Allen and her sister Kimberly Niles. Connie is survived by her brother Glenn (Peggy) Allen and brother-in-law Kendall Niles.  She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Christopher Allen, Alexandra (Geth Williams) Allen, Kyle (Brandy) Freeman and cousins Jack (Carell) Allen and Paul (Sylvia) Allen.
Connie trained for nursing at the Brockville General Hospital and enjoyed a 40 year long career. While she was nursing, she opened "Faye's Dress Salon" and was an inspiration to all her clients and friends.  After she sold the dress salon, she held the position of Director of Nursing at Lanark Lodge for a number of years.
Due to COVID, services will be held privately for the family.  She will be laid to rest in Brown's Cemetery in Lavant, Ontario.
