To the Smith family,
My sincere sympathy to all of you, so sad that your family matriarch is gone. Annie was one of a kind as a Mom and Grandmom! I remember when I was a teenager visiting and spending time at McCreary’s, she was such a great sport playing right alongside the kids! She was a strong woman carrying on her life after losing her beloved Joe far too soon. I hope fond memories from the past bring you comfort and make you smile.

Jack, Lynda, Gord and Willy: Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your Dear Mom. I remember walking past your place and she was usually out in her garden working away, but she always had time for a chat (even when I was a kid!)

She gave of herself at Br 244 and I can still picture her marching in the colour party. Joe and Annie loved hockey and were great supporters of their sons’ hockey journeys. I am most saddened to hear of Annie's passing. I remember her as a hockey mom to the sons I taught at The Stewart School. I remember seeing her at the PCC when I went to visit my sister-in law- who has since passed. She will be remembered as a great mom and an inspiration to all.

My sincere condolences to the Smith family. I have wonderful memories of my childhood days living on North St. and enjoying the winter days skating on the great rink in the Smiths backyard.
Annie’s flowers were just beautiful. I enjoyed driving by and seeing her working in her garden many years later.
