Doris passed peacefully away at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at the age of 74 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Steven Trudeau. Doris was the loving mother of Earl Trudeau, Sandra Dillabough (Stuart), Ginger Vizzari (Stephane) and Trevor Trudeau. She was the cherished grandmother of Austin, Marisa, Domenico, David and Tasha and great grandmother of James and Lily. Doris will be sadly missed by her sisters Jessie Hughes, Marion Arnott, Edna Adrain and Alice Gilchrist. Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Margaret (nee Forbes) Jackson, and by her siblings Ada Foster, Pearl MacDonald, Ruth Lalonde, Jim Jackson and John Jackson. Doris will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to Covid 19 Restrictions, a private family service will be held. Interment will be at St. Andrew’s Cemetery Watsons Corners. In honour of Doris, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or C.H.E.O. would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
