Great friendship and respect to his family, close friends, co-workers and colleagues, especially Don Switzer (friend, confidant and golfing pal) and his wife Donna, Dr. Paul and Kerri Thomas, Metin Aktas, Katherine Roth and others who remained faithful to his truth. It is through Wayne’s faith in God and his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ that he will be in Heaven seeing old friends and waiting for his Christian friends to join him. Wayne was educated in Perth and Windsor, Ontario and Detroit Michigan. He attended Queen Elizabeth Elementary (Perth), Dougal Elementary – Patterson and Forester Collegiate (Windsor) and Wayne State (Detroit) where he received his BGS and diplomas in Industrial Engineering and Business Management. At various times Wayne worked for CP Rail, Duplate Glass, ABC Ambulance and 28 years with General Motors primarily in manufacturing and personnel. He followed this up in 1992 by becoming the president of W.E.S. Consulting Inc. (a Labour Relations and Business Consulting firm). He then put his business talents and personal passion into being the owner/operator of the Ye Old Walkerville Bed & Breakfast from 1997 till 2010. Besides his business accomplishments Wayne also found time to give back to the community. His Civic accomplishments include; President and umpire with the Windsor Forrest Glade Baseball League; founder and president of the Bowmanville Baseball League (Bowmanville, Ontario); member of Windsor Junior Achievement and Big Sisters (Oshawa); being a founding member of Tourism Windsor, Essex and Pelee Island Corp.; and being the author of two books, one autobiographical and one on business. His acknowledged passion was his deep love for his family. His business career was distinguished by hard work, enthusiasm and dedication. Wayne was known for his loyalty to true ‘friends” and his willingness to help those less advantaged especially those in dramatic need. Wayne departs this life with an unqualified commitment to his truth and his next life will bear that testimony. For those directly or indirectly involved in his time of false untruths, they are left to deal with their own fate.
