Obituary of Ann McParland
After a brave battle fought with cancer, we are sad to share that Elizabeth “Ann” McParland (née Derbyshire) gained her wings and joined her beloved husband Keith peacefully on Monday, June 21st, 2021 at the age of 66 years young in the Perth Hospital. Ann was the treasured mother of Kim (Jay) Morrison, Sarah McParland (Morgan McNevin) and the late Cory McParland. She was the cherished grandmother of Brett Morrison, Kale MacDonald, Truex and Beckett McNevin. Ann will be lovingly remembered by her mother Lois Derbyshire and her siblings Allan (Angela) Derbyshire, Joan (Bob) Thompson and Joyce (Ed) Serson. Ann was predeceased by her loving father, Harold Derbyshire. She will be sadly missed by her many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends.
To know her, was to love her. She was a gentle soul who taught us all to “always look on the bright side of life and keep kindness in your heart”. Ann will be remembered by her constant smile and generous heart, her love of time with family and friends, and play time with her grandsons. The fact that she donated blood 129 times is but one reflection of the kindness and selfless nature that made us love her so much. Always there with an offer to help, a smile and comforting words, she will forever be our support and add warmth to our hearts.

A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at Stanleyville Cemetery on Saturday July 24th, 2021 at 1:00pm where Ann and Keith’s urn will be laid to rest with there beloved son Cory.
