Marilyn entered into the presence of her Lord, peacefully at Perth Community Care Centre, on July 4th, 2021 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Howard, with whom she was married for over 59 years. Devoted mother of Edwin (Lucy) Dodds of Kanata; Charlotte (George) Covell of Rideau Ferry, and Esther (Kendall) Judd of Rideau Ferry. Cherished grandmother of Marianne (Matt) Vanholstyn, Rose (James) Ferguson, Brad (Karin) Covell, Steven Covell, Tricia (Danny) Leger, Travis Covell, Amy (Roman) Steika, Matthew (Sally) Judd, Brendan (Tetiana) Judd, Jeremy (Lydia) Judd, Kathleen (Greg) Simpson, and Kristina Judd. A special great-grandmother to Molly, Jenna, Lynn, Andy, Sierra, Jeff, Max, Clark, Carter, Chloe, Noah, Felicity and Sienna. Cherished sister to Grace Walker, Wayne (Carol) House, Lyla (Jerry) Christensen, Karen (Ken) Covell. Predeceased by her parents Elmer and Florence House (nee Beer) and by her brothers Don and Clayton. The family wish to thank Carolina Court for the lovely home and support they provided, and the Perth Community Care Centre for their compassion and timely care.
A visitation will be held at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. The funeral service for Marilyn will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, July 8th, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. (registration in advance) Interment will follow at the Scotch Line Cemetery.
