Abromeit, Hertha Luise Ida (nee Knobel)

Hertha passed away peacefully at Mapleview Lodge, Athens, Ontario on Thursday November 25, 2021 at the age of 96. Predeceased by her beloved husband Heinz Abromeit. Beloved mother of Werner Abromeit and Michael (Judith Gorman) Abromeit. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Richard (Cheryl Eveleigh) Abromeit, Naomi (Christopher) Bouwmeester and great-grandchildren Sierra, Vala, and Oliver. Dear sister of Gertrud, Hans, Wilhelm, and Helga. Predeceased by her parents Johannes and Josepha (Olszewski) Knobel. Fondly remembered by her extended family in Canada and Germany. A private family interment and service in celebration on Hertha's life will be held at White Cemetery, Poland, Ontario. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Lanark Animal Welfare Society.
