Marilyn passed away peacefully in hospital, Smiths Falls surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Donald G. Wiseman. Loving mother to Steve Wiseman, Rick Wiseman (Julie Kerr), and the late Pat Wiseman. Devoted grandmother to Dustin, Tanner and Stephanie. Sister to Janis O’Neil “Curly”, Gregory “Ben” and the late Melvin and Wayne Thompson. Daughter of the late Richard and Blanche Thompson. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith Street North, Smiths Falls on Monday, December 6 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place in the Blair & Son Chapel at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Hillcrest Cemetery. In memory of Marilyn memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark County or Alzheimer Society Research Program. By family request, proof of double vaccination will be required to attend the funeral at 1:00 p.m. Visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. is open to everyone.
