Obituary of Walter Bentley

Bentley G. Walter

Walter passed away suddenly at his home on Friday December 3rd, 2021 at the age of 86 years.  He was predeceased in 2019 by his beloved wife Helen (Burns) Bentley. Walter will be sadly missed by his son and daughter-in-law Steven and Stephanie Bentley, his grandson Andrew and extended grandchildren Samantha Luk, Daniel Luk, Scott Luk, Kaitlyn Luk, Brian Lieuw-Kie Song and Timothy Lieuw-Kie Song.  He was the brother of Brian and the late Norma and Joe Bentley. Walter will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends.

Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Saturday December 11th,2021 from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M.  The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 A.M. followed by interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lanark. In remembrance, memorial donations to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. 

For those attending the visitation, proof of full vaccination (QR code)  or paper document is required, along with photo ID to confirm identity. Masks are mandatory and contact tracing information must still be provided.
