Obituary of George Russell Jackson

Passed away peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the age of 68.  Beloved husband and best friend for more than 41 years to Karen (nee Fraser).  Loving and devoted father of Jennifer (Shawn) Hurd and Jeremy (Suraya) Jackson.  Cherished and proud grandfather of Skyleigh, Soleil, Hartley, Ocean, Orion and Arabella.  He will be sadly missed by his siblings Lucy, Fred, Janice, Johnny and Wanda.  George was predeceased by his parents Murray and Jean (nee Bean) Jackson, as well as his sister Jane.  He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. There was a service to celebrate George's life at Blair & Son Smiths Falls Chapel on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2:30 p.m..  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Association for Anglers and Hunters, AFTD's Mission  or to the charity of your choice.
