My heart broke the day you hung up your fishing pole and handed your gear to me, to only pass it forward to your grandson. Loosing you today to this horrid dementia, doesn't compare to how my heart broke then.
Thank you for being moms world, best friend, and loving husband through good times and bad. Thank you for being there when we needed you, even tho times you didnt always want to but still did out of love. A character with class is what comes foremost to mind when i think of you!
I promised you I would be there for you when your health took decline in hospital and I held strong to my words and will continue with your wishes for afterlife. You raised me this way by example and forever grateful to have you in my life to have looked upto.
