Sincere condolences to Michael, Stephanie and all the family. My acquaintance with Wanda goes back to the summer of 1957 when my family left our farm near Metcalfe and relocated to the home directly across the street from the Alexander family in Winchester. Wanda was 15 years of age at the time. The day after we arrived, she came to our door to introduce herself to me and my sister, Ruth. We bonded instantly becoming very close friends and sharing many wonderful times through our highschool years. Although separated for periods of time by distance, we could always pick up right where we left off. My sister and I have always treasured our friendship with Wanda. Thanks, dear friend, for those wonderful memories. You will be missed.
