Obituary of Isaiah Doland

After a courageous and private battle with cancer Isaiah passed away suddenly at home with family at his side on March 14, 2022 at the age of 29. Beloved son of Deb and Ryan Jones. He will be missed by the love of his life Hanna Gilfillen. Isaiah will be remembered fondly by siblings Natalie Kravacek (Mike), Maddy Jones, Rory Jones, and Briar Jones. He will be sadly missed by grandparents James Doland, Dorothy Doland (predeceased), as well as Tom and Sandra Jones. Loving nephew of Donna De Block (Mike), Julie (Jason) Johnson and Jamie Jones. Cousin to Matthew (Taylor) and Bethany De Block (Luke). Best friend of Matt Pritchard, Taylor Rogers, and Mike Kravacek. Loved companion to his dogs Luca and Frankie. Isaiah was loved and respected by all who met him; his zest for life was contagious, there was no one who he couldn’t make laugh, and even in his most trying days he always made others feel special and loved. He was a cherished friend, a consummate gentleman, and very forgiving. He loved being outdoors, whether it was on his motorcycle, cruising the water on a boat, or out at “the range” with his gun collection. He was a foodie, his fridge only ever held Pepsi, condiments, and the occasional grape, because he was always trying new restaurants and foods. The loss of his presence in our lives is immeasurable and we will cherish the memories of his beautiful soul. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Friday March 18, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Rideau Christian Fellowship Church (8 Craig Street, Perth). A funeral service will be held at the church on Saturday March 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations in memory of Isaiah to Rideau Christian Fellowship would be greatly appreciated by the family.
