Very sorry to hear of Rowatt's passing.
We shared many laughs throughout the years working for the township,after retiring every now and then Rowatt would visit the garage with great stories and laughs .
He always had a great big wave as I drove by.

My memories of Rowatt start in grade school, progressing through the years as a family friend and neighbour. We enjoyed lots of fun while I chummed with his sister and dated his "brother", then we all went through raising kids instead of raising Cain. And anyone who remembers Rowatt square dancing or step-dancing knew to stand well back because those long legs would fly high! We got reacquainted at the campsite on the Mississippi River where Rowatt and Lynda had good times on the pontoon boat. I know everyone has great memories of their times with Rowatt and he will be sorely missed in the village. My thoughts are with Lynda, Robert and Cathy and their families. Pappy loved you all. Rest in peace Rowatt and let those legs fly high.

Rowatt was a kind, easy-going individual who had a heart of gold and would willingly assist anyone who asked.
