Our entire family is sorry to hear that Helen has passed. She will be at peace, her faith a major part of her life. There are so many memories with Helen while she lived at Dalhousie Lake, and each one full of joy and laughter! Her spice and zest for life, her sharp wit and sense of humour, made her a great neighbour. Helen was always very kind and generous to me. I was new to the lake, and many a "Happy Hour" was spent floating with a beverage. Gordie always tethered us to the dock so we wouldn't float too far. The first stop for our kids when we arrived at the cottage was "Gordie & Helen's." They always came home with a treat and a story. A special memory is when Gordie and Helen drove to the hospital to visit Mark in 2015. It meant the world, and all the birthday and get well messages, all saved in a little box.
Today is a sad day on Hall Shore Road. God speed Helen.
