McCandless, Ronald
Ron passed away peacefully in the Perth Hospital with his family by his side on Sunday May 1st, 2022 at the age of 80 years. He was the beloved husband for 58 years of Jeanne (Murray) McCandless; dear father of Beth (Todd) Fisher, Kelly (David Lindsay) and Andrew; much loved grandpa to Thomas Fisher. He was predeceased by his parents Sybil and Hugh McCandless and his sisters Florence Gore and Beverly Roche. He will be sadly missed by his surviving sisters Betty Howard and Shirley Cooper, numerous nieces and nephews, many friends and former coworkers.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair and Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Tuesday May 10th, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 Pm. Funeral service will be held in St James Anglican Church, Perth on Wednesday May 11th, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. followed by a reception. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff on the third floor of the Perth hospital and Dr. James Simpson for the compassionate care Ron received as well as the kindness and consideration shown to our family. Those wishing are asked to make memorial donations to St. James Anglican Church, Perth or the Branch 244, Perth Legion.
