Chapman, Arnold K. Passed away peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the age of 87. Beloved husband and best friend for more than 59 years to Helene Chapman (nee Sansome). Devoted father of David (Julia), Paul and Keith (Kathryn) Chapman. Loving grandfather of Matthew, Justine, Robert, Jacob, Isaac, Marshall and Ella. He will be sadly missed by his sister Dianna (late Russell) Fleming as well as Darlene Chapman and many extended family and friends. Arnold is also predeceased by his parents Forrest and Ida (nee Phillips) Chapman. All are welcome to pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held for Arnold at the Bethel United Church in Rideau Ferry on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Maple Vale Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
