Chris and I were deeply saddened as we read of Ruth's passing. She was a precious, gentle lady who always had a smile and a good word for everyone. The world is a better place because of Ruth's presence in it.

We rejoice in Ruth's graduation from here to her heavenly reward. I can just imagine her joy, as she meets her saviour face to face, and hears the words "Well done Ruth - you have lived your life pleasing to me - welcome home". Yet, at the same time, we grieve the loss of her life and impact here on earth. Oh the countless times I went to the prayer rooms at Glad Tidings, and had Ruth pray with me. My mom did too.
May the God of all comfort, bring comfort and peace to all who loved Ruth, and whose hearts are broken at this loss. So thankful that we don't grieve like those who have no hope, for we know this isn't goodbye, just a see you later Ruth.

My deepest condolences to the Dobbie family. I was sorry to hear from my brother Ken, of Ruth's recent passing. Ruth was a very kind and thoughtful person. Ruth would always bring my parents, George and Hazel Clark, a plate of delicious home baked goodies at Christmas time. When my mom passed, Ruth continued to visit my dad and which he greatly appreciated and enjoyed.

Many fond memories of Ruth with my mother Evelyn McKay, at their many meetings, and quilting get togethers in the past. such a big part of the Hopetown community over the years. Dear Dwayne,Perry, Deb and all the family;
We know your hearts are broken at this time after losing your precious Mom, and Grandma. We also know you have so many,many memories to help ease the pain..Ruth was such a caring servant of the Lord. Some may think at times she was a little overzealous but she always believed it was what God would want. Her home was always so welcoming and you would never, be able to leave until you had dinner. Doug and I are holding each of you in our prayers over the next weeks as you all adjust to this change. We love each of you and we are so sorry we can’t be there to Celebrate a life well Lived.
