Obituary of Lorraine Thomas

Passed away at Kingston General Hospital following a brief illness on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the age of 87.  Lorraine was the beloved and cherished daughter of the late Stanley and Loretto (nee Vallely) Thomas.  She will be sadly missed by her many cousins as well as her close friends she considered family, Gerald and Bonnie Covell and Allen Rever.  Lorraine was a beautiful lady that lit up a room with her radiant smile and infectious laugh.  She loved living in Smiths Falls and enjoyed many summer days at the cottage. Lorraine was dedicated and proud employee of RCA and in her final working years, she worked at Performance Printing and the Record News.  She was a faithful member of St. Francis de Sales Church and was active with the CWL and enjoyed attending many functions within the church and Smiths Falls community. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis de Sales Church Building Fund.
