Obituary of James Wesley Moore

Passed peacefully on December 3, 2022 in the Mississauga Queensway Hospital at the age of 70 years. Predeceased by his parents George and Mary Moore (nee Pepper). James leaves behind his beloved wife Karla Krueger, his brother Robert Moore, and sister Mary Griffith, as well as by his uncle Robert Pepper, and aunt Rose McCormick. He will be fondly remembered and missed by his step-children Sheila, Stephanie, Candice, Wendy, Michael, and Brian; and his many beautiful grandchildren; as well as by his large and extended family. James was an incredibly kind hearted and gentle man, a very precise person who appreciated doing a good job the first time round. His profession as an electrical engineer was also his passion; he loved the work that he did and was proud of being part of the team that designed the very first satellite weather computer for Environment Canada.   Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday December 9, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls Chapel (112 Beckwith St. N.). A funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
