Max, Lesley After a courageous battle with cancer Lesley passed away September 30, 2019. She spent her final days surrounded by her family at Smiths Falls Hospital. Lesley was an avid golfer and enjoyed the close friendships she gained through her ladies league. As a life long educator Lesley devoted her career to supporting children and families. Lesley took great pride in her daughters Sandra (Lou), Karen (Owen) and Christine (Tracy) and her grandchildren Melissa, Tessa, Josh and Sophie. She was a caring sister to Britta, Peter and Ned and a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephew. Lesley is survived by Robert Max, her devoted husband of 45 years. Friends and acquaintances are invited to join the family for a reception at Rolling Greens/Lombard Glen Golf Club from 1:00 to 3:00 on Sunday, October 20, 2019. A private celebration of life will follow for her family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Smiths Falls Palliative Care and ICU will be gratefully appreciated.
