Audrey Daniell, a long-time resident of Perth, Ontario died peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday, December 26th, 2022. She was born on September 22nd, 1946 to the late Wilfred and Madeline Eliza (Wattie) Dupuis in Cornwall, Ontario.
Audrey leaves behind her children, Donnelly (Sarah), Rodney (Ruth), Carrie Lou (Dwayne), Christina (Jason), Bradley (Nicole), Angel, James (Maryanne), Valery (RJ), Samantha (Sean), and Rick. She is survived by her sisters, Muriel, Hilda (Harvey), Eileen, Doris (Don) and Patricia (Butch); brothers, Vincent, Lyle (Aline), Irvin (Janice) and Wayne (Margaret), alongside many nieces and nephews. A favorite Nanny and Oma to many, she will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she cherished and spoiled most dearly.
Audrey was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Geoff, with whom she spent many years living her best life. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Veronica and brothers, Gerald and Francis.
Audrey was a long-time respite care provider and supported numerous children with development and physical disabilities. She was an avid volunteer in the local community and a devout member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish. She loved her long morning walks and coffee breaks with her many friends and was always finding ways to help those less fortunate or anyone who just needed someone to lean on.
At Audrey’s request, there will be no funeral service and cremation has already taken place.
The family of the late Audrey Daniell wish to thank her entire medical team at the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital for their unwavering dedication, knowledge and kindness. Their professionalism and compassion for Audrey and our family during this difficult time was extremely supportive.
Audrey touched the lives of so many people and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
