With broken hearts we are saddened to share the passing of Darlene Florence Tysick on the evening of Friday January 6th, 2023 at the Brockville General Hospital (BGH) with many of her loved ones by her side. Throughout her 71 years, she lived a life full of love and happiness, always dedicated to her family and beloved pets.
Darlene will be incredibly missed by the love of her life, Joe Tysick, and by her children, Wendy (Mark), Ernie and Sherry (Joe). She leaves behind the lasting love of her grandchildren, Jenna (Jadon), Meredith (Mitchel), Riley, (Emma), Shoshanna (Sami), Serena (Liam), Coral, Cody, Mikey, Kealie, and her great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Coby and Maisie. She will be greatly missed by her siblings Norma, Victor, Vernon (Laurie), Gary (Gloria), Keith (Tracey), Susan (Dave), Judy, Rose (Billy) and Danny (Tracey), fondly remembered by her cousin Arnold Baker (Debbie), Aunt Barb McDougall, and her canine baby, Roscoe. Darlene is predeceased by her mother, Edith Wark, step-father, John Wark, sister, Cathy, and her brother-in-law, Doug Tysick.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors (with special thanks to nurse Serena) in the ICU at BGH for all the care and support they provided for Darlene throughout her final few weeks. Knowing she had such an incredible team taking care of her made a world of difference to all of us and no words can express how much it meant to us.
A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Perth on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. n Darlene’s memory, donations to The Ajmera Transplant Centre at UHN’s Toronto General Hospital would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair& Son Funeral Home, Perth.
