Castator, Darryl Michael With great courage and bravery, Darryl made the decision to remain dignified and strong with the help of the M.A.I.D. Program. On Monday, September 9, 2019 surrounded by his loving family Darryl passed away. Beloved father of Kali Ring, Sarah Shane (Chris), and Kirstin Kennedy (Jamie). Cherished grandfather of Ryleigh, Maeghan, Tenley, Boston, Maddox, Kensington and Piper. Dear brother of Dianne Suurtamm (Peter), Susan Castator, Johnny Castator (Sandra) and Janus Belanger (John). Predeceased by his parents Murray and Mary Castator (nee Slack). Darryl will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Darryl's career as a road superintendent for 34 years began at Rawdon Twp., which amalgamated to Stirling & Rawdon Twp. Years later, it was onto Prince Edward County where he retired. He was a proud member of the Ontario good Roads Association. Darryl was a kind, loving and strong man. He was a dedicated family man, who enjoyed nature and the outdoors. Camping, fishing and canoeing was where he loved to be the most. He dreamt of living in the woods for the rest of his retired days. Darryl was just a simple, uncluttered, knowledgeable man and he will be missed by many. A Celebration of Darryl's Life will take place at the Trent Port Marina 15 Creswell Dr, Trenton, ON, Saturday, September 14th, 2019 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. In Honour of Darryl, contributions to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Alternatively, please plant a Maple Tree in Memory of our Dad, he loved maples, and would like to see them everywhere.
