I was very sad to hear of Willard's sudden passing. I am sorry to say that I did not know him for very long, but I enjoyed quite a few pleasant visits on the farm and a few to the nursing home. I found him to be a very pious gentleman and quite dedicated to his church. His stories of past years around Maberly were an amazing outlook into life on the farm and working outside the farm. May he rest in peace.

Willard was my neighbour and cousin. He seemed very shy but then he would surprise me with his wry sense of humour. When I was very young Leland and Willard would come to our house with the steel guitar and acoustic guitar and along with my father's fiddle we would have a kitchen hoe down. I remember dancing around the kitchen until bed time. Those were wonderful warm times. I know that Willard has been taken to heaven and is embracing his loved ones there. May his earthly family find peace and comfort knowing he is safe in God's arms.

Kind, gentle, shy but friendly, soft spoken and always ready to chat. These are my memories of Willard. I will miss chatting with him at Rideau Ferry Country Home but I know he is now in a better home. My sincere condolences to Murray and the entire Larmon family.

Willard was a shy man but he had a great sense of humor. Very deeply connected to God who saw him through all his troubles. He went in his favourite time of year. I'll never hear his "oh, oh, oh" when I said something he thought was outside the good. I shall miss him greatly. May God surround Murray, Mark, Barbara, Brian, Paul and families at this time. Willard is at peace now

We pass along our deepest condolences to the Larmon family.
Willard was soft spoken and kind and would surprise you with his sense of humour.
I am forever thankful that he picked us up in our youth when we moved to Maberly and took us out to the gospel Hall. Faithfully every Friday night and Sunday morning. Because of him I firmly believe the seed had been planted he was God’s vessel to my salvation.
