We would like to extend our sympathies to Syd’s family and his many friends. We have known Syd for a very long time and have always enjoyed seeing him whenever he made his way back to visit the family in the Eastern Townships. Our hearts hurt at this time for the loss of someone who meant a great deal to others and we especially think of Syd’s friends and family this day as his memorial service is about to begin. To Syd's family during this very difficult time--Barry and I shall always remember the great memories we shared with Syd over 30+ years at Adam Lake--he was a very kind and giving individual--always there if you needed him--we so enjoyed our visits after his trout fishing was over for the day--Syd you shall be greatly missed by so many--hope you hook into that big one up there--Cathy and Barry

so sorry to hear of Syd's passing. A group of us spent many Saturday nights together studying the Word and praying, etc. good memories of going to Toronto and other events. Syd always had good chats with the guys and was always eager to help. he will definitely be missed by many. Nancy

Anne and I were devastated to hear of Syd's passing. Our most heartfelt loving condolences to the entire family. I personally will miss him dearly. I have known Syd for years as a golf buddy, hunting buddy, professional car restoration specialist but most of all a dear and gracious friend. You could never have a quick chat with Syd because he always had a lot of meaningful prospective on anything you had to talk about Syd had a very special love for GOD and he is now at peace with him. May his soul rest in eternal peace in heaven. You may be gone my friend but you will certainly Never be forgotten.
