To Betty, Tom, Fred, Ann, Donna, Karen, and all grandchildren I want to say that I am sorry for our loss.
Bob and I have been two peas in a pod. I met Bob in 1972 and we have been there for each other since then. From x-country skiing in the backfield on Boyer; firewood processing on Stonaway; romping around McFee; and getting a place at restaurants in Carleton Place. Our best plans are always made in 5 minutes to solve the world's problems. Our deliberations concluded with a visit to Home Depot to see what flowers would find room in Betty's garden.
Our last outing involved delivering Donna's pet. I watched how he enjoyed his conversation with Donna and did not notice my car that has been waiting for a while beside where he had parked. Finally, the exchange took place and Bob came in and said have you been waiting long?
I say all this to demonstrate how proud and adoring he was of all of you.
I called him on his birthday but he could not come to the phone. I knew then what I did not want to admit; The bromance has come to an end. BOB, my brother "Sail on over troubled waters and rest in perfect Peace". I will never forget you.
Manny.
