Obituary of June Marie Mayfield

Passed peacefully on May 21, 2023 at Broadview Nursing Home in Smiths Falls at the age of 92. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ralph Mayfield. June leaves behind her loving children Alan (Brenda), and Bob (Ann); grandchildren Stephen, Heather (Derek), Whitney (Ezekiel), Audrey (Jessica), and Evan; great-grandchildren Christina, Marcie, and Lilianne. June loved her family very much and her absence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Handy with a needle, June was a seamstress for much of her life and always had a keen eye for fashion and clothing; she made her own clothing and that of her children when they were young. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Broadview Nursing Home for their compassion and care. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
