Obituary of Iris Labelle

Mary “Iris” Labelle of Smiths Falls passed away at home on September 6, 2023. Wife of the late Bob Labelle, daughter of the late Leo Arthur Deruchie & Rose Seqal of Cornwall. Sister-in-law of Carole Deruchie of Toronto, as well as Shirley, and Corrie Labelle of Cornwall. Fondly remembered as ‘Aunt Iris’ by Sue & Bill Bowes’ children Sarah, Erin, Adam, and John. She will be missed by her long-time friends and neighbours. Family and friends are invited to a casual gathering in celebration of Iris’ life at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls (112 Beckwith St N) on Thursday September 14, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. A private interment will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery in Cornwall at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation (Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre) would be greatly appreciated
