My deepest condolences to Tom and the entire Pfotenhauer family on the loss of his beloved wife and their beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Marj. It is not easy to be a Pastor’s wife, and Marj exemplified the very best of that ilk. She was a strong, conscientious, hard-working, loving, witty, and intelligent woman, who was well-read, well-informed, and selfless, always thinking of others, always doing, and always making a difference. She was interested and interesting, kind, caring, and indefatigable in the face of life’s challenges. She was also a loving mother, who raised four fine children, all of whom absolutely adored her.
