Obituary of Bert Allison
It is with heavy hearts we are saddened to announce the passing on Saturday, November 4, 2023 of Bert Allison at the age of 85. He was predeceased by his parents Ella and Don Allison of Ottawa. Bert was the beloved spouse of Lorna Allison, loving and cherished father of Bruce Allison, Catherine E. Allison and Robert Allison. He was the proud grandfather to Shaily, Jenna, Emily, Thomas and great-grandfather to Blair and Ruby. Bert was a solid pillar of the community and never wavered in integrity and a great love for this beautiful country. He was a keen hunter and fisherman and family was exceedingly precious to him. Bert will be greatly missed and forever loved by family and friends.
A memorial service to honour and remember Bert will be held at Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore Street West, Perth, Thursday, November 9th 2023 at 1:00 pm. The interment will be held privately at a later date. Memorial donations to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation (Perth site) would be appreciated.
