To the whole Brankin family, I am shocked and so saddened to hear of Lynne’s passing. Growing up on Glenview Crescent, I spent a lot of time at the Brankin household as a friend of Lynne’s. Boy, did we have some really great times together! I don’t think I had ever been to a house with that many kids. Our parents were good friends and I remember the anticipation when we knew they were going away on a weekend together (usually golfing in New York State). That meant it was time for 2-house party on Glenview Crescent! Lynne was a wonderful friend and we shared some hilarious, risky and memorable times together. Sending hugs to everyone who loved her. I loved her too and she will not be forgotten. ❤️❤️❤️

Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Lynne. She was the task master and master of first impressions at Brankin’s Plumbing and Heating. Always helpful and always pleasant. Mom so enjoyed a “stop in” to visit Lynne and Trish to get the latest news and they always obliged. Life on Glenview Crescent at the Brankin household in the 60’s was like being on “Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.” John would be out with his dad in the big fuel truck; Mary Ann and Lynne would be engaged in lively, heated and thoughtful discussions on whether black was white; Sue would be near the window waiting and watching for Johnny to drive by, again; Mike and Jim, who knows, playing hockey probably; Trish and Barb floating in and out like little butterflies. I recall that Joan and Pat Noonan had a diaper burning celebration. No kidding. Seriously, I cannot imagine the amount of laundry that household produced. I don’t recall Joan sitting down except when she was running the office. I guess she went to her other job for a break. She trained Lynne and Trish well. May your memories be a blessing. Cathy Hansen

Lynne Brankin
My sister Lynne was a generous person who had a happy smile and always looked out for others.
My Sister Lynne lived in the house besides JP Brankin and Sons, and she loved living there.
My sister Lynne would record her soaps so she could watch them when she had time.
My sister Lynne always looked out for her nieces and nephews and was always there to support them when needed.
My sister Lynne worked and was a partner at JP Brankin and Sons and helped keep the business organized and the employees happy whenever she could.
My sister Lynne would always host the Thanksgiving Easter or Christmas dinners for our family and even though it was a lot of work, she was always smiling when we arrived.
My sister Lynne would always have a pot of coffee on in the morning far early visitors to enjoy with her.
My sister Lynne loved chocolate.
My Sister Lynne became very ill, but she always tried to stay positive and be brave.
My Sister Lynne fought bravely until she could fight no more.
My sister Lynne passed away peacefully on November 11th in the afternoon surrounded by her brother’s sister’s nieces and nephews.
We will all really miss our sister Lynne.
