Obituary of Ross Warren Milligan
Peacefully at Hazeldean Gardens, Ross passed away on Sunday, November 12th, 2023, at the age of 93. He was predeceased by his loving wife Marielle in 2012. Ross will be deeply missed by his daughter Louise (Sam Guzzo), and forever cherished by his grandchildren Matthew Guzzo (Brooke Hansen) and Taylor Guzzo (Ty Wendt), and great grandson Theodore. Ross is survived by his brother Ken Milligan (Shirley) and will be fondly remembered by many extended family and friends.
Ross thrived on the simple things in life, sharing stories and jokes, dancing, camping, spending time with his family, making maple syrup and puttering around at Robertson Lake. He loved life and lived it to the fullest everyday.
The family wish to sincerely thank all the staff, PSW’s and nurses at Hazeldean Gardens Retirement Home for the excellent care and support they provided over the last couple of years.
A celebration of life will be held at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023, from 1:00 – 4:00PM where we will share stories, beverages and light refreshments. In honour of Ross and in recognition of his love of food, memorial contributions to the Lanark Highlands Food Pantry would be greatly appreciated. If you are joining the family for Ross’ gathering, we will be accepting any non-perishable food items for donation to the Lanark Highlands Food Pantry.
