It was a pleasure being neighbors with Elaine on Sunset blvd. She was always so kind, happy and her joy was infectious. She loved visiting with my dogs and I know her cats meant the world to her. May they find a wonderful forever home. She will be dearly missed by myself and everyone else in our building. Fly, beautiful soul over the rainbow bridge.

Elaine is a beautiful open spirit who made it easy for me to enjoy her company. She had an infectious smile and we laughed telling stories of our lives as I took her on appointments to Ottawa. Our biggest enjoyment came from hitting a bump on the highway, coming home at a high rate of speed while laughing with sheer joy and excitement. What a rush. I look forward to that speed bump now just to feel close to her again. Thank You Elaine for all the joy you gave. David

I remember Elaine when she came into Lanark Lodge to visit Bert. I would always make sure I had a chat with her. She was always so kind. My thoughts and prayers go out to all that knew her. I am sure she will be missed by all. Brent Whiten PSW

Elaine’s infectious laugh was so large & lovely like music. Her spirit was as beautiful as her generosity. She was grateful, warm & loving. She never met an animal, critter she didn’t want to cuddle & carried dog cookies with her everywhere she went. Every stranger without making friends with them before they left her presence. Fiercely independent she was a true caregiver to all of us, even when her own abilities failed her. Her only worries were for us before she flew away. I’m comforted knowing she was very much at peace of heart, mind & ready for a new adventure away from health limitations. It is my greatest pleasure to know she is now a literal Angel instead of figuratively here with us. A song bird who can charm the birds out of the trees from heaven above. It was my honour to know her, been loved & hugged by her. I got to tell her she was my hero & how much her sense of humour through the darkness lighted the way for so many of us. There was no one, never will be, like Elaine with all her unique gifts. Fly free my dearest, most beautiful friend! I can picture you squealing with joy beyond the rainbow bridge as you meet your furry friends forever. You are lightness & love personified! Until we meet again, thank you for you, Love Tracy
